Has your child ever been expelled?

In order to support families with young children, we are conducting a study with families to understand their experiences with their child’s expulsion experience. In particular, we want to know whether and how they are accessing alternative care following a planned or forced transition and more broadly what their experiences have been in that transition process. Our primary goal is to make sure that families' voices are heard by policymakers in Illinois and nationally. This research study is being conducted by Drs. Sarai Coba Rodriguez and Kate Zinsser at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
